Abraham Tetenbaum (Executive Director) is the founder of Enrichment Works. He holds a BS from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and an MFA in Playwriting from the University of Minnesota. Mr. Tetenbaum has written for Broadway ("Crazy He Calls Me'), network television ("Sisters") and scripted two pilot education projects for the Joy2learn Foundation featuring pianist Alan Gampel and actor Hector Elizondo. He has taught at NYU, Brooklyn College and Hofstra University in addition to GATE programs and Professional Development Workshops at numerous public schools.
Mr. Tetenbaum has also conducted writing and drama workshops for the World Union of Jewish Students in Croatia, Italy and the United Kingdom. His early career was spent at the New York Shakespeare Festival produced by Joseph Papp for whom he served on the Educational Council at Lincoln Center. Mr. Tetenbaum is a member of the Dramatists Guild (DG); the Writers Guild of America, West, Inc. (WGA); the LA County Arts Commission Arts Education Roundtable; the Greater Valley Glen Council, where he chairs the Cultural Affairs Committee; and the San Fernando Valley Arts Council, where he chairs the Arts Education Commmittee. He received the 2002 Creative Vision Award from Artists Helping Artists and the Creative Line Magazine and received a Professional Designation in Arts Education from the Los Angeles County Arts Commission in 2003. |

Cindy Marie Jenkins (Arts Education Director)
is a Freelance Director, Playwright & Educator. Her adaptation of VOICES FROM CHORNOBYL has been produced in Los Angeles, and future productions include the UK, Ireland and Ontario Canada. Directing credits include: MONSTERS IN MY CLOSET, a reading at East West Players, BOY GETS GIRL by Rebecca Gilman at the Attic Theatre, Stephen Sondheim's ASSASSINS with Sight Unseen, JOURNALIST OF THE YEAR by Kitty Felde for Towne Street Theatre, FOE PA:EPISODE 6 & PHILOKTETES at the Open Fist Theatre. Cindy graduated from NYU's Playwrights Horizons Theatre School and directed numerous works in New York. She has adapted many stories to the stage, including KING ARTHUR for children, and was commissioned to write MARY TODD for Delvena Theatre Company in Boston, which will tour through Historical Societies, libraries and schools. Other playwrighting includes: VOICES FROM CHORNOBYL, THE GREEK CYCLE: ONE TRUE GODS, and BAREFACE, an adaptation of C.S. Lewis's Till We Have Faces (rights pending). Cindy also acts as the Antaeus Theatre Academy Teaching Associate, specializing in Classical Theatre. |
